out on the floodplains

Out on the floodplains of the swamps of Florida. I was struck by the group of trees in the middle of the open floodplains.

   -I know where this is used to be one of my child hood hangouts spent many a day watching from a path to nowhere. Saw my first black bear about a half a mile from here towards the St. Johns
