The owners of Tamburr Motor Cars launched their blog! Own and Joy Tamburr asked me to shoot a few cars that they have worked on over the years. It was a great shoot, I learned a lot obit shooting cars and some post processing tricks.
Primary Flight took place during Art Basel 2010 in Miami’s around the Wynwood Arts District. Graffiti & Street artists took over the wall of the Wynwood Arts District with permission of the building owners. It was an epic event, I had a bit of an apprehension to being in Miami industrial district at night. I have to say I was wrong, the area was crawling with artist everywhere, the air had a good vibe. Every one was very chill and in to the scene. I was jaw dropped over the work I saw, it was amazing to meet and talk to people from around the world that had come to Miami to take a can of spray paint to a wall.
This images are shot with a Canon 5D MK II, I used a number of techniques to get the shots. I want to capture the interaction of the artist and their work
People where shocked to find out I shoot weddings, so I put together a video with samples of my shooting style I like to use when shooting a very special day. I want to use my creativity to show the true beauty of a wedding. I want to avoid the cliches that many use as a crutch for lack of creativity.
World’s Largest Street Level Mural Installation
Primary Flight’s annual project is the world’s largest event of its kind. Artists from all walks of contemporary art headline our annual event. Artists collaborate on high profile walls throughout Miami’s urban landscape.
Here is my collection of images from the first day, I was incredibility impressed with the artists and there work.
A very interesting method to photography.
